Welcome to Ok to Say

OK to Say: Responding to racism together. OK to Say is a community-based protocol that provides support to those experiencing racism. The purpose of the protocol is to promote equity, compassion, and respect for all members of the Central Okanagan community and to defend actively the rights of all members through individual awareness, education and community support. The project was developed by a group of diverse and representative community members. The Task Force, drawing from this group, tracks incidents in the community and reports regularly to the media on racism and discrimination. The participation of all community members is welcomed.

Thanks to all who took part in this year’s Kelowna Volunteer Fair. If you are interested in volunteering with us, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity to get involved with the community. Email us at info@oktosay.ca.

Don’t forget, we’re still looking for kids to sing OktoSay songs! It’s fun and a great way to meet people. If you’d like learn more about our children’s music program, send us an email.
